BIM (Building Information Modeling)
ENO Glass realizes that today’s submissions are becoming more complex as owners, architects and contractors adopt BIM as the way of construction. We are prepared to meet the new challenges of modern projects with years of experience and current technologies.
When modeling is required for design development, we’re ready to deliver.
- Inventor models are created at the beginning of a project. They are a parametric design approach, meaning that they are formula driven to easily accommodate changes that may occur during geometry development and field measurements.
- Clash detection tests and reports can be run to coordinate with other trades. Any problem that is detected can be resolved quickly.
- Models are a virtual prototype enhancing visual recognition and dissection.
- These performance models can be submitted and loaded into a BIM coordination platform such as NavisWorks.
- Models are created prior to paper submissions.
- There is an Inventor to CAD relationship that helps to keep shop drawings and the model in sync. Therefore, 2D drawings are clear and accurate for a smooth submission.
Model Driven Fabrication/Manufacturing
Not all projects require BIM but all projects do require fabrication/manufacturing and models are a key element in that process.
- We extract and utilize the intelligence imbedded in the models to facilitate an all-encompassing fabrication package.
- All modeling is completed long before fabrication begins.
- Models are accurate and parametric with the fabrication drawings enabling immediate changes to take place if necessary.
- Inventor parts can be exported to a verity of file formats which can accommodate 3D CAM software CNC machinery.
